When Silence Breaks, by Elizabeth Goddard is this week’s Reader Friday. Here’s the first line: “Secrets can’t stay buried forever.”

But first the photo and verse. My granddaughter, Ashley, took this on her way to work the other day, and I loved it. The cloud looks like an angel praying. What does it look like to you? The verse–that’s the one I camp out on when I have something major going on in my life.

My take:

Oh, my! This is a riveting, fast-paced story that I couldn’t stop listening to. The story quickly drew me in, and Goddard’s description of the Cascade Mountains put me there. This story had twists and turns that took me by surprise, and I usually can figure out who the bad guys are early.

Both Ryder and Sarah were great protagonists, and I loved Ryder’s mom. She was a sweetheart. Once again Elizabeth Goddard has knocked it out of the ballpark!
