Really Really Dumb Criminals 27 ~ Mystery Question

Really Really Dumb Criminals 27 is this week’s Mystery Question. Again from the archives…I really had trouble believing some of these from last week, and this week’s are hard to believe as well…

Now for the photo and verse. There are some really good things about an 11-hour drive, especially if through the mountains. This photo was taken near the North Carolina/Tennessee border on I-26. That area near the Blue Ridge Parkway is very scenic. Isaiah 40:28 is such a true verse…not that they’re not all true. 🙂

Now on to last week’s Mystery Question: Really Dumb Criminals #26. Four scenarios, three true one false. Which one is false?
  1. A woman posed as a deputy and showed up at the prison where he was being held with bogus papers for his release. They got away with it until the actual deputy called to say he was coming to retrieve the prisoner.
  2. A teenager hacked into a government server on a lark and within twenty-four hours, federal agents swarmed his parents’ house, holding them for questioning for another twenty-four hours before they took the boy away in handcuffs.
  3. Officials canceled a Silver Alert for a 70-year-old man after a detective pulled him over and noticed a woman who appeared to be dead buckled into the passenger seat. He’d been driving with her in the seat for a week after she died at a hotel.
  4. A man was arrested after he drove his lawn mower, complete with trailer, into the side of a squad car. His driver’s license had previously been suspended and when he registered three times the state limit on the Breathalyzer, he claimed the state spiked his bloodstream.

And the answer is…#2. Congrats to all who guessed correctly!  I had trouble believing #3, but I googled it here and found this report…

Now for this week’s Mystery Question: Below you will find four headlines in the news. Three actually happened. I made up one. Can you guess which one?
  1. Man confesses to crime the day after he thought the statute of limitations had passed. Unfortunately, he was off a day and was charged with the crime.
  2. Fugitive makes a deal with PD to surrender if his wanted poster got 15K likes.
  3. Man detailing how he built bombs at his trial advised by the judge to exercise his Fifth Amendment rights.
  4. Man escapes murder charge due to victim dying from a fatal disease at the exact time the killer was completing his task.

Okay Super Sleuths, which one did I make up? Leave your answer in the comments, and I’ll enter you in a July drawing for something… a water bottle!  June’s winner is…Becky! (I should’ve announced it last week)

Here is today’s song. I clicked on the link Gail put in the comments on Friday, and while listening to the song she highlighted, this one came up on the side. I hope you enjoy! PS, I’m so glad he came to know our Lord and Savior!
