Nutty Blotter Reports ~ Mystery Question

Nutty Blotter Reports; Ps 19:1

Nutty Blotter Reports is this week’s Mystery Question. I have seven days to get my edits in and have struggled to get the first one hundred pages these past six weeks. Finally believe I’ve figured out my problem–six weeks ago I started on a statin. Lethargy and brain fog ensued. I stopped the statin today and will let you know next week if that was the problem!

Before we get to last week’s Mystery Question, the photo and Scripture. This photo was taken on my first cruise with my family. And it was taken with my iPhone 8. I can’t wait to take another cruise and use the Canon! I thought the verse fit so well. <3

Now for last week’s More Bad Headlines. As usual three were really published and I made up one. Can you guess which one? Leave your answers in the comments and I’ll enter you in a drawing for a book from my library.
  1. Man accused of killing lawyer received a new attorney.
  2. Most tornado damage is caused by wind.
  3. State population to double by 2040; babies to blame.
  4. Breathing oxygen linked to staying alive.

And the answer is…#2. Congrats to all who guess correctly!

Now for this week’s Mystery Question: Which blotter report is false? Three are actual reports that are on Police blotters, which is kinda hard to believe…
  1.  A caller reported her purse was missing. Someone had come to look at her house, which was for sale, the day prior and the caller said that person may have stolen her purse. The woman later called back and said she found her purse. Her dog had stolen it.
  2. This caller reported her boyfriend had gone outside for a cigarette and thirty minutes had passed. She could not find him. The boyfriend was found more than two hours later.
  3. A man called and reported his wife had put all his clothes in a suitcase and set it on the front porch. When the police questioned the wife, she readily admitted she had. She had argued with him about coming home drinking, and he told her that he didn’t have to put up with her fussing, and she could just put his clothes in a suitcase and he’d leave. That’s exactly what she did. And locked the door.
  4. A caller reported a truck had tailgated his vehicle before passing it on a double yellow line. The driver then stopped his vehicle and confronted the caller, breaking the caller’s driver-side mirror in the process. The driver left the scene after asking the caller if he wanted to fight.

Okay, Super Sleuths, which one did I make up? Leave your answers in the comments and I’ll enter you in a March drawing for a book from my library!

As always your photo and verse began my day on a thankful note!

You will be in my Prayers this week. I will be surprised if your statin is not the problem. I pray your brain fog soon lifts and your energy returns.

Although the options are all completely believable! I choose #3!

Nice photo and matching verse. They surely do declare God’s glory.

Any of these nutty blotter items could be true. What a quandary! I’m going to pick #2 as the one you made up simply because it’s the one with the least information, and the lamest reason for calling the police. If it is real, that boyfriend is in trouble. 🙂

I’m guessing #2. Prayers that you feel better soon….my husband had the same problem with statins, plus he had hip pain (all are side effects). He had to try a couple more before he found the one that had the fewest side effects.

Thank you, Angela! I’m not trying any more statins–my cholesterol isn’t that high and I don’t think the doctor gave my diet time to work. 😉 We’ll see next week if it’s #2.

Love the picture and verse. You take some great shots!

I don’t normally choose the same number as the made-up answer from the previous week. However, I’m going with #2 again. The other three reveal more about the outcome. This one just says he was found. Where was he for over two hours? Did he go see another girlfriend while he was out? I guess you would have to make up answers to my questions if this is the made-up report.

Well, first I’d have to go over to the blog and see which one is the one I made up. lol. At this point, I can’t remember which number it was. Glad you liked the photo and verse. I’ve used it before–these revisions have thrown me so far behind I’ve had to use a few of the memes from other blogs…
