New Questions; Psalm 121:1-2

New Questions is this week’s Mystery Question. I thought I would try something different because I’ve gotten hooked on Quizzes! And I want to share the pain. lol

But first the photo and verse. The photo is one I’ve used before, but I love the way the light reflects in the camera lens. And this psalm is one of my favorites and one I go to every time I face a challenge. I hope it ministers to you as well.

Now for last week’s Mystery Question–Wacky and Crazy Crimes. As usual three are true and I made one up. Can you guess which one?
  1. A woman reported her car and cell phone as stolen by a man answering the ad she’d placed on in the paper. The policeman taking the report called the phone and told the guy who answered that he had read the ad in the newspaper and wanted to buy the car. They arranged to meet, and the thief was arrested.
  2. A pickpocketer learned his lesson real quick when he tried to steal from a bikini-clad woman. He chatted up the woman and her friends, trying to sell them a subscription to a magazine. When he left, he hid one of their phones in the magazine. The woman also happened to be an off-duty police officer realized what he’d done and chased him down.
  3. The teenage boy misdialed a drug customer’s number, but even after he realized he’d gotten the wrong number, he still offered to sell drugs to the person who answered. “Sure,” was the answer, and forty minutes later the “customer” who was a police officer, arrested him.
  4. While robbing a house this bright criminal parked his car in the driveway while he went inside to steal whatever he could find. The owner returned and found a strange car in her drive with a wallet in the seat and keys in the ignition. She took them and called police who nabbed the thief.

And the answer is…#1. Congrats to all who answered correctly! As always I’m amazed at the stupidity of crooks.

Okay, Super Sleuths, here are some of the questions I’ve encountered on the Quiz link I get each morning. They are multiple-choice, and you can leave your answers in the comments.

Wonderful photo, and you’re not alone with that Psalm being a favorite.

Oh, those questions are tough. I’m picking
    1. a. Beaver Flat. Seems reasonable since a lot of Beavers were trapped in MN.
    2. b. Santa Fe since NM has a lot of UFO touristy stuff.
    3. d. Harrisburg just because there seems to be a wispy part of my memory that thinks so (Note: Don’t trust my memory. I don’t 🙂 )
    4. a. N. Dakota because…

    These are really fun, Pat!

#1 a, Beaver Flat. Maybe too cold for the rest of the creatures.
    #2d, Hmmmm, I don’t think any of those listed…so, I’m guessing Nashville?
#3 a, Annapolis. I’m originally from MD, so thinking I heard this somewhere.
#4 a , Dakota, because I’ve never heard the other states listed as someone’s name.
    Challenging!!!!

I love the pic and verse.

I’m going with a on 1 and c on the other three. I’m doing this on my phone, so brevity is important.
