Yay! Nothing Broken

Thank you all for your concern and prayers! No broken bones just a nice shiner.  And sorry to say, I can’t find the post I created…so if you don’t mind, I’ll skip this week’s Mystery Question…Bless you all!

Definitely the perfect verse for today.
Is that beautiful sunrise/sunset, so brilliant in sympathy with the shiner you are sporting?

Glad nothing is broken. May God bless you with healing.

Don’t worry about the lost blog. It’ll probably show up sometime. Bless you and safe travels, Pat.

Sorry, but I didn’t know you were having some trouble. What happened if I may ask? But from what I read here I am glad that it was not any worse than it is – hope you heal fast. Take care.

Goodness! Just saw the FIRST email! I’m so glad you’re okay. You do know that my recurring nightmare (the one that makes you wake up sweating bullets?) is tripping on a curb on a busy city street! I almost did it for real in Brooklyn. I literally fell out of a subway station. Not a subway, the station. The little guy at the bodega next to it came running. The world is still full of nice people. Take care of yourself!

Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers! And for those who don’t know what happened, I was vacuuming my car at the car wash and when I finished one side, I walked around the front of the car to do the other and caught my foot on the curb. That’s when I kissed the concrete with my face. Silver lining–I can write a realistic scene of how it feels after someone gets a black eye! 🙂

Pat, I am so glad you have no broken bones. Just out of curiosity, was your first reaction after falling to look around to see if anyone saw you? I didn’t have that reaction when I fell on the edge of the curb at church (the experience I shared in my comments this morning), however, I fell in the middle of my hometown going from the parking lot into the bank years ago. I think that’s exactly what I did as I was getting up. I understand it’s a common reaction.

I love that picture. Was it taken at the Santa Monica Pier? I love the verses in that Psalm even more. I particularly enjoy singing the song based on the first verse. I pray a speedy healing for you.
