Taking a Week’s Break

Family Vacation

Happier times on our family cruise vacation. Lisa is on the right.

Hi everyone. Sorry to not have the Mystery Question this week, but as many of you know, I’ve been dealing with my daughter’s health problems the last four weeks, and last week flew to West Palm Beach, Florida to put her in hospice.

She passed into Jesus’ waiting arms Saturday afternoon with her family around her. We will be scattering her ashes Thursday. I have been so thankful for the many thoughts and prayers from those of you who knew of her illness and passing.

I plan to return to the blog next week.

Having lost a child myself, there are no words beside Jesus. May you find rest and comfort as you do the work of grieving.

Praying peace and God’s arms of love surround you all. Deut. 33:27 was one of my mainstays after my husband, and two weeks later my son went home to be with Jesus.

Pat, I am so sorry that you will no longer have your daughter with you in this life, but Jesus has promised he will take His children into His arms when it’s their time to join Him in heaven. He keeps His promises, all of them. And so you daughter has finished her race, and now enjoys the crown prepared for her by her Savior God. May God sustain you now and in the future with this sure knowledge that one day you will see her again in heaven, too. God’s blessings to you and your family.

My family and I are also so sorry but you have done valiantly and we marvel at God’s perfect timing so you could have even short time with her. Now she is safe and waiting for the best family reunion of all.
