Sorry, but my town is 100% without power due to the ice storm of the century. A TVA substation failed so that has to be fixed before our crews can even get started. I’ll be back when my power is restored.

I’m praying everyone can be safe and hopefully staying warm. Praying for everyone in this terrible situation. Also praying for our nation.

I am so sorry you are dealing with what I was most concerned about here as the storm barreled down on us. Fortunately, we were spared, but I feel for all those who were not. I pray power will be restored soon. God bless!

Lord, we lift up this town in the midst of this devastating ice storm. Please protect everyone’s safety, especially the crews who will be working once repairs can begin. Provide warmth, shelter, and endurance for families without power, and wisdom and strength for those restoring the substation. Bring swift resolution, calm hearts, and Your peace in the waiting. Amen.

Patricia, I’m so glad your power is back on and hopefully not a lot of damage to your town and area. This has been one cold winter and I’m looking forward to the “thaw” that’s coming this next week, even if it’s short lived, we’ll take it!
There’s isn’t a better way to heat and cook than gas, it just feels different and food seems to taste better too. I wish we had it in our area, you were very blessed to be able to stay warm!
