Amen!
Amen. Thankful for their sacrifice. My daddy is a WWII veteran.

Mine, too. It’s good that we have set aside to honor and remember our sacrifice. Lucy, did you happen to watch the Memorial Day tribute on PBS Sunday night? It was so good.
My one and only nephew is serving with the Army now. I’ve had ancestors all the way from the Revolution to the present serve our country. We’ve been very blessed that we haven’t lost anyone. Some have been wounded but they all came home safely. I know this day is for the remembrance of those lost, but I’m so proud of my family for serving our country. Some of have been and were officers.

Beverly, I do the same thing. I know Veterans Day is for honoring our military men and women, but I tend to do it on Memorial Day, too, along with remembering those who died.
