I thought I’d share some of the food we ate and the vendors we saw along the way. The salads were at this fabulous Turkish restaurant in Poriya, Israel.
In Jerusalem, we often bought from street vendors like the ones below:
On the fourth day of Hannuka, we went to the Open Market on Jaffa Street. I was amazed at all the items on sale!
Before we left, I caught a picture of men dancing in the street, celebrating the lighting of the fourth candle. It was a very joyful night!

Lovely pictures Patricia! One reminds me of Pikes Place Market in Seattle, of course the signs are in English 🙂 I bet you the dancing was fun to watch! So glad you were able to have such an adventure such as this.

I’ve been to Pike’s Market in Seattle, Trixi! And you’re right, except the Open Market in Jerusalem is much bigger. 🙂
