Happy Thanksgiving  2024 to you all!

You all are the best, and I wanted to drop in to tell you how thankful I am for you! Thank you for reading my blogs and leaving comments… I truly appreciate that you show up each week to guess my crazy laws or dumb criminal posts and to read my Reader Friday posts about books I’ve read. Posts will start again on Tuesday for two weeks, and then I’ll pause for Christmas.

And thank you for your prayers to meet my deadline! They kept me writing and meant the world to me. You will be happy to know last night at 9:05 I emailed the manuscript to my editor. 🙂 And your emails, notes, and comments have encouraged me more than you’ll ever know ~ Thank you!

After the recipe, I have a couple of puzzles for you to work!

Here’s an easy Thanksgiving recipe I hope you’ll enjoy.

Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients:
1.     3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
2.     1 cup brown sugar
3.     2 eggs, lightly beaten
4.     1 tsp vanilla
5.     ½ cup milk
6.     ½ cup melted butter
Topping
§  ½ cup brown sugar
§  1/3 cup flour
§  1/3 cup melted butter
§  1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation:
Combine the first six ingredients. Pour into a buttered 1 ½ to 2-quart casserole dish. Mix the remaining ingredients together and sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes until an inserted knife comes out clean. Or it doesn’t jiggle when you shake the dish.
Serves 6-8 (actually more)

God tells us to “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 NIV For more encouraging verses click here.
And here are those jigsaw puzzles: The first one is 60 pieces and the 2nd one is 40…so if you’re working it on a phone, the 40-piece might be easier… https://ptbradley.com/october-2024-puzzle/

Happy Thanksgiving  2024 to you all!

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m sure sending the book to the editor took a load off, at least for a short while. I look forward to the day I can hold a copy in my hands and enjoy reading it.

It took me 10:16 on the 60-piece puzzle.

I hope you and my fellow readers have a blessed Thanksgiving. I’m sure it must be a huge relief to have met your deadline. Thank you for the recipe. It sounds really good. The puzzle took me about 10 minutes and 20 seconds.
