November Reader Friday will unfortunately be the last Reader Friday until I finish my latest manuscript as I simply don’t have time to read very much right now. I hate it because I really enjoy reading the books and writing reviews, but my deadline is looming and I have to crawl into my writing cave and work! I will continue the Mystery Question through November then take a Christmas break and return in January. 🙂
I will be dropping in occasionally with a Scripture graphic, and I want to announce October’s winner of Steve Hooley’s beautiful pens. And the winner is…Tim Johnson!
You can check out Steve Hooley’s fine pens! (value $60) Steve’s Hand-crafted pens are made from antique and historic wood dating back to the 1700s. Check out my friend’s pens at his website. (Due to shipping costs, winner must have a US address.) You can see his other pens here.

Congratulations Tim
Phenomenal photo, Pat. Oh, the majesty of God’s handiwork! Glory!
The Scripture is perfect for what I needed today. Thanks
Congratulations, Tim!
We’ll miss the blogs, Pat, but totally get it. No time to write means no books to read.

I’ll still be doing the Mystery Question, Barbara. But it was just betting to be too much with the deadline. 🙂 I do the Suspense Sister’s too.
It’s all right. You have our full support. Many blessings, and we’ll look forward to your return.

I’ll still be here on Tuesdays, Priscilla!
Thank you for the pen, Pat! I’ve never had a really nice one, and I’m looking forward to it.
Until you mentioned heading for your writer’s cave, I had no idea you are a spelunker. 🙂
Inspiring photo and verse. Wow!
And you’ll never guess what book I’m reading now. Hint: it’s by my favorite spelunking author.

I’m praying for that, Gloria!
I’m currently reading Defending You by Robin Patchen. “Cici Wright smiled when she stepped into Mr. Delvecchio’s Philadelphia jewelry store.” Thus begins a harrowing journey of running from the bad guys!
Have a wonderful holiday season everyone and congratulations Tim!!

Congratulations to Tim! Those pens look beautiful.
Patricia, as always your photo and verse are stunning and just what we need at the time, a reminder that God is with us always!
I will miss reading what everybody is currently reading, but I don’t see how you stay on top of things as well as you do. I’m just thankful that you are still writing!
And to let you know, after reading the opening paragraphs of your latest release, I had to put my current read on the “to be continued “ later list, and I’ve started with book one, Shadows in The Past, of the Logan Point series. I’m excited to have some great stories to carry me through the coming Winter months! I don’t know how I missed this series, but looking forward to reading them all.
Good luck with all the writing!
