Mystery Question~More Dumb Responses

Colossians 3:17 Mystery Question-

Mystery Question~More Dumb Responses–I liked last week’s so well, I found three more. Could you believe some of last week’s responses?

Before we get to those, I’d like to tell you where the photo above was taken…I’d like to but I’m not really sure. I do know it was taken on the trip to Israel, just not sure if it was at the Memphis International Airport or the one in Barcelona when we landed after flying all night. Either way, the sun was just coming up, creating a beautiful photo!

Now onto last week’s Mystery Question~Quotes From Dumb Criminals: I have four sentences that dumb criminals have said. Three are true, one is not. Can you guess the one that is not true?
  1. “I look better than this mug shot. Take another one.”
  2. “Come on, man. I spent my last twenty bucks on that rock. At least let me smoke it before you take me to jail.”
  3. “I didn’t rob that guy. The one I robbed had blonde hair.”
  4. “He was already dead when I shot him. I think he had a heart attack or something when he saw my gun.”

And the answer is…#1. Congrats to everyone who guessed correctly!

Now for this week’s Mystery Question~More Dumb Responses. As usual, three are true and I made up one. Can you guess which one?
  1. “I was not driving that get-a-way car. The one I was driving when we robbed that store was a Mustang.”
  2. “He couldn’t have recognized me. I was wearing a mask.”
  3. “I forgot I was holding a gun when I yelled at those two teenagers.”
  4. “But officer, I’m not that drunk, and anyway, I had one eye closed so I wouldn’t see double.”

Okay, Mystery Sleuths, which one did I make up? Leave your answers in the comments and I’ll enter you in the November drawing for a book from my library!

    Hmm. I’m torn between #3 and #4. #3 seems more plausible than #4, so I’ll pick #4.

Pat, wherever you took that photo, it’s a beautiful example of God’s artistry. And the Scripture going with it reminds us of whom we serve.

Absolutely, Tim…and I was wrong on both counts. I searched for the original photo and I took it back in 2015 when I was traveling to Minnesota for a visit with a friend! That’s why eyewitness accounts aren’t that reliable. lol Thanks for dropping by.

I’m choosing #2 because it’s a larger font. 🙂 How’s that for logic? LOL! Others have commented about everyone wearing masks now, but I don’t read anywhere that these are necessarily current responses. I think we are all getting more accustomed to recognizing people even with masks.
