Patricia Bradley Mystery Question 46 Comments

Merry Christmas; Matthew 2:9

Merry Christmas! Praying for a joyful and blessed Christmas for you all!

This will be a brief post–I know you’re all busy. And since I don’t want you to wonder for two weeks if you guessed correctly, I’m just posting the answers to last week’s Mystery Question. I’ll be back in January with a new Mystery Question!

Now for this week’s Mystery Question. Just like with dumb crimes, three of these laws are really on the city books in different states, and I made one up. Note someone compiled this list in 2011 and some laws can be quite old. Can you guess which one I made up?
  1. In this town, all citizens must own a rake. (Georgia)
  2. Cats may not run loose without having been fit with a taillight. (Colorado)
  3. It’s illegal to plant a Bradford pear tree here.
  4. Here failure to tell your neighbor his house is on fire is illegal. (Florida)

And the correct answer is…#3. I could not believe that #2 was really true, but in Sterling Colorado, there is a law that says a cat cannot run loose unless it is fit with a taillight–good luck on that one. 🙂 And I’ve learned it might even be possible some states ban the planting of Bradford pear trees, but I haven’t seen them…

I truly hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. See you in a couple of weeks. And the winner of the $15 gift card is…Shelia Hall!

er you in a December drawing for a $15 gift card on the 19th! See if you won the $15 drawing...Merry Christmas! Share on X
