Insurance Reports Continued ~ Mystery Question

Patricia Bradley Mystery Question 44 Comments

Insurance Reports Continued; Sherry Shawl Winter

Insurance Reports Continued is this week’s Mystery Question. I had fun with those, so I decided to do a few more.

But first the photo and verse. The photo was taken by my friend Sherry Shawl up around Pigeon Forge, I think. It almost makes me like snow…And that verse is the first one that came to mind when I saw the photo.

Now for last week’s Mystery Question: The following are short quotes from actual police reports; statements either taken directly off of insurance forms or things said directly to the officer taking the report. One is false the rest, unfortunately, are true.
  1. “When I told my girlfriend to get out of the car, I thought she’d wait until I stopped.”
  2. “I was taking my canary to the hospital. It got loose in the car and flew out the window. The next thing I saw was his rear end, and there was a crash.”
  3. And this one: “I had been learning to drive with power steering. I turned the wheel to what I thought was enough and found myself in a different direction going the opposite way.
  4. Or is it this one: “I told the police I was not injured, but upon removing my hair, I found that I had a fractured skull.”

And the false insurance report is…#1. 🙂 I don’t know how the police officers kept a straight face when they heard the other reports, or how they wrote them down!

I liked last week’s questions so well, I thought I’d continue on with reports from insurance companies and police blotters! One of the statements is FALSE, the rest, unfortunately, are true:
  1. “The guy was all over the road. I had to swerve a number of times before I hit him.”
  2. “The telephone pole was approaching fast. I was attempting to swerve out of its path when it struck my front end.”
  3. “I was driving along when all of a sudden I heard this rattlesnake in my car. It scared me so bad I ran off the road into the ditch. That’s when I found out it was my toddler shaking his baby rattle.”
  4. “The indirect cause of this accident was a little guy in a small car with a big mouth.”

Okay, Super Sleuths which report did I make up? Leave your answer in the comments and I’ll enter you in a January drawing for a book from my library.

Insurance Reports Continued is this week's Mystery Question. As usual, three are true and I made up one. Can you guess which one? Leave your answer in the comments and I'll enter you in a January drawing for a book from my library! Share on X

I’m pretty sure it’s #3 or #4 and I’ll go with #3 this time. Driving w/ drivers like these on the road is definitely dangerous–almost as bad as the traffic we just experienced in Israel.

Haha, you gotta watch out for those aggressive telephone poles! I’m going with number 3. It seems too rational compared to the other crazy statements.

The picture is so peaceful. I’d love to be where I could sit in a nice cozy warm cabin and view that any time I wanted to. The verse is a good choice.

I’m choosing #3. I can’t imagine anyone with a toddler not recognizing the sound of a baby rattle.

These were all good! I’m going with #3, but I really want to choose #1.

Great photo of, what looks like The Pigeon River. Indeed, it is a lovely area,
…year round! The Scripture fits perfectly.

I caught that statement about almost liking snow!!!!!! Woo Hoo! 🙂

    Blessings!

The comment for almost liking snow was specifically for you, Barbara. lol I’ll ask Sherry where she took it next time we get together, either by text or in person. And we’ll see about #3.

Oh, I love that photo! I would hate to get a “soaker” in that water. That Scripture teaches God is with us all the time, and is our constant.

Those accident excuses are so outrageous. I’ve got to agree with Vera. #3 is the most reasonable, barely, of the bunch so I think you made it up.

Yes, a lovely snow picture. Glad I’m not the only one who says, “Bah humbug” to snow. 😉

I’m going to guess #2 this week…but they’re all quite humorous and unbelievable!
