Answer to Last Week’s Mystery Question

Answer to Last Week’s Mystery Question–you didn’t think I would leave you hanging until after Christmas, did you? 😉

But first the photo and verse. I love the clouds in Florida…also the warm temps! I took this photo one afternoon on a run with the two border collies you’ve seen on the blog. Right now the temps here are 70° while the temps in Northeast Mississippi are threatening to drop to below freezing with sleet forecasted…is there no wonder why I’m here and not there? Romans 15:13 is one of my go-to verses!

Now for last week’s Mystery Question, More Crazy Crimes 11. As usual, three are true, and I made up one. Can you guess which one?
  1. If you’re contemplating making counterfeit money, you should at least know who belongs on a $100 bill. It’s not Howard Da Silva, the actor who played Ben Franklin in the film 1776. That error was what led to the counterfeiter’s capture the first time he tried to pass off one of his fake bills.
  2. It was Bring Your Child to Work day, and one crook brought his young son along with him on a job. It just happened to be robbing a pet shop. Unfortunately, after he escaped with an expensive dog, he left his son behind, who ratted him out.
  3. This guy figured he could be a cop without having to take the test. He outfitted his truck with flashing lights and pulled a motorist over. The motorist took one look at his badge and called the real police–the fake cop had blacked out a restaurant gift card and etched in the word “POLICE. Then he forgot to blackout the restaurant’s logo.
  4. “I had banana all over me,” the man complained to the judge after claiming he was assaulted by a woman with a banana. He was suing for $5000. Her response– “I got on the bus to find out why the driver almost hit my car when the banana slipped right into his tie, his shirt, his eye…” The judge ruled it wasn’t reasonable that a single banana could cause that much damage…the award? $100.

And the answer is: The ever-popular #1…congrats to all who guessed the correct answer!

And now I want to wish you the best for the Christmas season and the New Year! Here’s a song I really enjoy. Steven Wood has become one of my favorite singers. And I love the songs he and his wife sing together. This song reflects where I am today.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas as we celebrate our Lord’s birthday! See you in January.

Love the clouds! My granddaughter and I used to play a game identifying the shapes when we were riding with someone else. In your pic, I see a dog on the left but I also imagine that there’s a small cat (on the right) chasing it!

Hope you have a blessed Christmas!

I thought I had already responded to your post, but I must have got side tracked somehow. Anyway, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and are enjoying your time with family and friends, getting a much needed break from work. Let’s all celebrate our Savior’s birthday, the real reason for Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all the blog family as well! I’m looking forward to January already, except weather wise.
