Just wanted to pop in and tell you how thankful I am for you, my readers!  Y’all are AWESOME! And to celebrate you, leave a comment telling me one thing you’re thankful for this Thanksgiving, and I’ll enter you in a drawing for a $10 Amazon gift card. Winner announced Tuesday…

And speaking of Tuesday, I’m taking the rest of the week off, so there will be no Reader Friday blog…See You in December! (Can you believe next week is December???)

Meanwhile, enjoy this time with your family and friends!

I am incredibly thankful for the amazing group of family and friends I have. We had around 120 people at my mum’s 50th, and put on a surprise concert, and totally messed up some parts, but everyone was really encouraging and impressed, and it was just a totally amazing time of fellowship and celebration!

I’m thankful for my Godly, supportive husband who has stood with me and helped me through some difficult challenges that I’ve had over ther last few years. He made it easier to face them and make it through them.

I am incredibly thankful for family! Last year right after thanksgiving my 18 year old brother was in a car accident and actually died on seen, the paramedics got him back him back but if left him in a coma for several months and we were told he would never be more than a vegetable. BUT GOD! Fast forward to this year and he is walking, talking and almost back to his normal self. One moment in time can change your life forever, so I’m thankful for my family because this thanksgiving could’ve been a whole lot different.

Lucy, you’ve been in my prayers since I saw on Fb that he had gone to heaven. Even when we know it’s only a matter of time and they will be so much better off, it’s still hard to give up loved ones. Blessings to you.

I am thankful that my wife, Karen, of 38 years is now with her Lord in heaven. We spent the rest of her life together. I’m thankful for my friends and relatives who have supported me through this time of redefinition. God is so good.

Happy Thanksgiving! I am most thankful for my growing faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, because I can handle life and all the ups and downs with the knowledge that he is always with me and will never forsake me.

I am so thankful for my husband and kids/grandkids. I lost the rest of my family at a young age, so I am very grateful to have them in my life. I am thankful for each day I’ve been given to enjoy them. I hope you enjoy your time off and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks, Celeste, but I’m afraid there won’t be much time off with a deadline looming. I will take Thanksgiving Day off, but come Friday, I’ll be back at the computer. 🙂 But it’s all good!

I am thankful to be in a country where I have access to healthcare. I know that even when I do not have the money I can still see someone to tell me what is going on with my health. I do not have to wait months for tests or surgeries

Happy Thanksgiving, Pat! I am thankful that my 94-year-old mother, who was admitted to the hospital early on the morning of her birthday, is back in her own home and making progress every day. She has been through a lot but keeps bouncing back.

Right now I am thankful just to be alive. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and went through a 7 hour surgery and had lots of complications. I spent 3 weeks in the hospital and another 3 weeks in rehab. I have to start chemo soon, but I am thankful for each day I have and for the family and friends who are helping and supporting me through this!

So thankful that 2019 is coming to an an end. It’s been a year filled with the some of the biggest challenges of our lives. Through it all, God has been our Constant Companion. He works in, around, through, because of & in spite of ALL THINGS!

Lisa, it seems like some years are tougher to get through than others. I often wonder how those who don’t believe in God and Jesus get through the hard times in their lives. I know I couldn’t!

I am thankful for my friend Brenda. I am the church librarian and needed help rearranging about 1,000 DVDs and some books. On Friday she came and worked for several hours until we finished the job. Then on Sunday after church, she and her husband came by and changed out the light bulb in my garage door opener. A lady in our Sunday School class had recently fallen and broken her hip. Brenda didn’t want me to risk a fall.
