I was thinking, as I signed up to be a possible winner of a Kindle and a lot of wonderful books to read, that I already have a LOT of books to read. So I entered thinking about the people in TX and reas where families/singles have had to go into shelters. They may have some pretty awful living conditions for a while, wouldn’t it be nice to give these books and Kindle to some women who may have to sit for hours? And then maybe they could pass them on to someone else? How uplifting might that be? I remember Katrina and living in the northern half of MS, we had families come here and stay in some of the cabins where our church held Camp Meetings. There were families with some young and older children and one thing I took out to them to have were a number of games and jigsaw puzzles. They were so very thankful to have some things to help pass the time. Just some thoughts.

Great idea, Jan. I’ll pass it on to the powers that be. I just hurt for the people in Texas. Tornadoes are bad, but not as widespread as hurricanes. Praying for relief for them!

That’s a great idea to give the kindle to someone waiting for their life to get back to normal! I already won a kindle, so I don’t need it.
